The Copyright Office started an inquiry on 7 October into how streaming fraud works and how AI-generated music feeds it; comments close 23 November. A day earlier Michael Smith got 18 months and an $8.09 million forfeiture for bot-streaming hundreds of thousands of AI songs. If you release AI music, this is where stricter distributor checks would come from, and anyone can comment.
